Job summary

Stoughton Trailers, LLC in Brodhead, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the 2nd shift (4:30 pm to 3:00 am). You will operate a wide range of tools and equipment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and set up machines and fixtures to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; ability to read prints and schematics; basic welding, hydraulics, and electrical skills; and willingness to work mandatory overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools and machines including electrical meters, hand tools, torches, grinders, welders, cranes and computer equipment.
• Troubleshoot line repairs and breakdowns.
• Conduct maintenance and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Perform machine and fixture set-ups.
• Read and interpret prints and schematics.
• Operate overhead cranes and other lifting devices.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and operate a maintenance database.
• Perform basic welding and work with a torch.
• Work safely, efficiently and productively per company policies.
• Contribute to team efforts to produce a quality product.
