Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Junior Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of plant equipment, machinery, and facilities.

You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor and Production team to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and complete repairs safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone mechanically inclined who wants to grow in an industrial manufacturing environment, performing routine tasks, and gradually taking

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
• Technical school or hands-on training preferred.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge required.
• Ability to use common hand and power tools.
• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
• Inspect equipment and identify potential problems before breakdowns.
• Lubricate, clean, adjust, and replace components as required.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment condition.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Support Production with equipment adjustments, changeovers, and minor repairs.
• Assist with installation, relocation, and commissioning of machinery and equipment.
• Perform basic facility maintenance including lighting, doors, plumbing, etc.
