ADP, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I at East 51 at Rocketts Landing in Richmond, VA. This entry‑level role supports repairs, unit turns, and daily upkeep to keep our community safe, clean, and move‑in ready.

You will assist with repairs, unit make‑readies, painting, light plumbing, and more, while learning safety protocols and maintenance best practices. This position offers growth opportunities and competitive compensation in a team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general maintenance experience required; multifamily experience is a plus, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of tools, appliances, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Willingness to learn and obtain certifications (CPO/HVAC).
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs. and work flexible hours.
• Valid driver’s license and high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairs in apartments and common areas
• Support unit make-readies, painting, light plumbing, and cleaning
• Help maintain tools, carts, and grounds
• Change locks, filters, and light fixtures as needed
• Respond to service requests and help with on‑call emergencies
• Track supplies and report issues to Maintenance Supervisor
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
