Job summary

HomeTowne Studios & Suites by Red Roof is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our team in Oregon with a starting wage up to $18.00-$20.00 per hour. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance in guest rooms and common areas, completing and documenting work orders, and performing repairs and routine tasks to keep rooms and exteriors in top condition.

Ideal candidates have about 1 year of maintenance experience, knowledge of general tools and landscaping equipment, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Performs preventive maintenance in guest rooms and common areas.
• Manages completion and documentation of maintenance work orders.
• Completes repairs and maintenance on rooms, including painting, caulking, carpet/floor cleaning, changing light bulbs, toilet seats.
• Maintain safety and security of the hotel and follow key and lock procedures.
• Maintain landscaping, parking lot, grounds and exterior appearance.
• Confidentiality of guest information and hotel data.
• Performs self-room inspections and responds to quality feedback.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance in guest rooms and public spaces.
• Close out and document maintenance work orders efficiently.
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance tasks as needed.
• Maintain hotel safety and security procedures and areas.
