Job summary

Amgen is hiring a SR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I to support plant start-up and daily operations in a GMP manufacturing setting. You will provide technical expertise across equipment and systems, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

During construction and post-construction phases, you will assist with start-up, maintenance planning, and documentation, while collaborating with Site Operations and Capital Project teams to optimize plant performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school/GED + 2 years of maintenance experience or military experience.
• Associates + 6 months of maintenance experience or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance during plant start-up and daily operations.
• Support start-up, commissioning, and qualification of equipment and systems.
• Ensure safety and compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and maintenance standards.
• Develop and implement maintenance program documentation (SOPs, CCMS, NC, WO, JP, HRA, JHA).
• Review and approve maintenance reports and records.
• Identify waste and opportunities for process improvement.
