Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Golden is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to support facility operations, ensuring safe, reliable building systems for staff, patients, and visitors. Responsibilities include operation and basic maintenance of department equipment, basic security coverage in the absence of a security officer, and other duties as assigned.

A high school diploma is required; an electrical license is preferred. 1–2 years of related maintenance experience is desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Electrical maintenance license preferred but not required.
• 1–2 years related maintenance experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Operate department equipment and perform general maintenance to ensure a safe environment of care for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Provide security in the absence of a security officer and perform related duties as assigned.

The Maintenance Tech. I is responsible for the operation of department equipment and general maintenance of the facility & equipment. These duties are performed in accordance with all applicable standards to provide a safe environment of care for employees, patients, & visitors of all ages. Other responsibilities include security in the absence of a security officer and other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. An electrical maintenance license preferred but not required (can train).
• Experience: One to two years related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. General Maintenance background experience required, hospital maintenance experience preferred but not required.
