Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fargo is seeking a Maintenance Tech. I to operate department equipment and maintain the facility to ensure a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

The role includes security support in the absence of a security officer and other duties as assigned. Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; an electrical maintenance license is preferred but not required (training available).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Electrical maintenance license preferred but not required (can train).
• One to two years related experience and/or training; general maintenance background required.

Responsibilities

• Operate department equipment and perform general maintenance of the facility and equipment to ensure a safe environment for employees, patients, and visitors of all ages.
• Contribute to security in the absence of a security officer and perform related duties as assigned.

The Maintenance Tech. I is responsible for the operation of department equipment and general maintenance of the facility & equipment. These duties are performed in accordance with all applicable standards to provide a safe environment of care for employees, patients, & visitors of all ages. Other responsibilities include security in the absence of a security officer and other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. An electrical maintenance license preferred but not required (can train).
• Experience: One to two years related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. General Maintenance background experience required, hospital maintenance experience preferred but not required.
