Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Overland Park is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to perform preventive and general maintenance and repair of facility and equipment. Duties are carried out to ensure a safe environment for employees, patients, and visitors.

The role includes security in the absence of a security officer and other duties as assigned. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and 1–2 years of related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years related maintenance experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive & general maintenance and repair of facility and equipment.
• Ensure a safe environment of care for employees, patients, and visitors.

The Maintenance Tech. II is responsible for preventive & general maintenance & repair of facility and associated equipment. These duties are performed in accordance with all applicable standards to provide a safe environment of care for employees, patients, & visitors of all ages. Other responsibilities include security in the absence of a security officer and other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: One to two years related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. General Maintenance background experience required, hospital maintenance experience preferred but not required.
