Job summary

Bartell Machinery Systems, L.L.C. is seeking a Maintenance Technician1 to perform diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facilities. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and teamwork in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of safety requirements for equipment and facility upkeep.
• Basic ability to repair tools and equipment.
• Machining and fabrication knowledge.
• Basic understanding of electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Basic understanding of PLC/Ladder logic diagrams.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on Bartell equipment and buildings.
• Maintain machine shop equipment, compressors, tooling, generators, lighting, and safety systems.
• Use Benchmark reporting to address hazards promptly.
• Upgrade or replace parts to keep equipment at high quality levels.
• Maintain fluid levels and perform routine fluid changes.
• Train with Maintenance Technician3 and learn hazardous waste disposal procedures.
