Rural King is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to handle all mechanical issues on equipment at Rural King Distribution. You will support operations, ensure safe performance, and collaborate with a team dedicated to serving rural communities.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance of forklifts, conveyors, and related gear, with opportunities for training and growth within a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• At least one year of warehouse/manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• One-year experience in general mechanical and maintenance needs relating to forklifts, racking, and grounds.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated willingness to take on new responsibilities and grow.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all mechanical or functional issues with equipment affiliated with Rural King Distribution.
• Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Participate in training programs and learn new skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
