Job summary

ALO Distribution Center is seeking a Maintenance Specialist I to audit, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on our automated material handling system components within the Fulfillment Center. You will support product flow and safety, with responsibilities spanning diagnostics, repairs, and documentation.

You should have a strong electrical/mechanical background, 3–5 years of related experience, and the ability to work at heights and on 480VAC systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; experience valued.
• 3–5 years in mechanical/technical troubleshooting, maintenance, or installation.
• Ability to read and follow English directives, basic math for inventory.
• Flexibility for holidays/weekends and safety procedures (lock-out/tag-out).
• Experience with conveyors, 3-phase systems, up to 480VAC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain equipment, diagnose mechanical and electrical problems from drawings and tools.
• Independently audit, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on automated material handling components.
• Work with 3-phase systems up to 480VAC for repair/installation tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance following safety and quality procedures.
• Troubleshoot/control issues, document work orders, and support maintenance area cleanliness.
• Be prepared to work at heights, manage inventory of tools, and assist with certifications.
