Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Distribution Center. The role supports the DC by maintaining and repairing conveyors and related assets, ensuring safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree in a mechanical or electrical field and 3–5 years of maintenance experience, with proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and welding. LOTO safety and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in mechanical or electrical field required.
3–5 years of maintenance experience in a facility.
Welding, burning, cutting expertise.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings/schematics.
Experience with LOTO and strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Adhere to OSHA safety standards and LOTO procedures.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment including conveyors; document work in PM system.
Report spare parts inventory levels and usage to Maintenance leadership.
Train junior technicians to elevate performance.
Collaborate with outside vendors to complete DC projects safely and timely.
Perform other duties to support DC operations.
