Job summary

Gildan is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support warehouse operations on the Sales Marketing and Distribution Team. You will perform routine and intermediate maintenance on conveyors, machinery, and facility systems, using manuals and blueprints to troubleshoot and repair.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a safety-first mindset. You will also document activities in the CMMS and work with cross-functional teams to keep operations running

Qualifications

• High School or Technical Diploma required.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Must pass Equipment Operator training and operate equipment safely.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Experience with conveyor systems or material handling equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work safely from various heights and maintain focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on warehouse conveyors, machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics to diagnose issues.
• Installs, uninstalls and services conveyors and related equipment; support emergency repairs.
• Operate hand and power tools for carpentry and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain HVAC components and pumps; monitor safety systems and generators.
• Log maintenance data in the CMMS (emaint) and manage parts inventory.
• Operate company trucks and material handling equipment as needed.
