Job summary

Stratum LLC in Salem, OR is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and related trades. The role supports the maintenance of apartments and common areas with a schedule of Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Benefits include full health/dental/vision and a 401(k) with company match, plus paid holidays and a $50 monthly phone stipend. Non-exempt position eligible for overtime; background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year of maintenance, porter, janitorial, landscaping, construction, or related experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and appliance repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the property.
• Complete routine work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Maintain common areas such as leasing office, clubhouse, fitness center, laundry rooms, restrooms, and model apartments.
• Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, and pruning.
• Conduct daily property walks and remove trash and debris.
• Assist with snow and ice removal to keep the community safe.
• Help maintain pool areas and conduct water testing.
• Pressure wash, paint curbs, and assist with general upkeep projects.
• Support property inspections and safety initiatives.
• Document completed work accurately.
