Job summary

Trans-Matic is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the 3rd shift in Holland, MI. You will work on a variety of equipment, perform repairs, and help prevent breakdowns to keep production on schedule. The role includes reading drawings, handling ERP tasks, and lifting up to 75 pounds.

You should have a strong mechanical aptitude, be able to work independently, and own basic hand tools. Training for hi-lo/aerial lift certifications will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC issues and repair.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and make timely repairs to keep production on schedule.
• Assist with installing and moving equipment throughout the facility.
• Support scheduling and prioritizing maintenance work and ordering parts as needed.

3rd Shift - 4 days - 10 hours each day

In this role, you'll work on a variety of equipment, perform repairs, and help prevent breakdowns so production can stay on schedule.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC issues.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and make repairs quickly.
• Help install and move equipment throughout the facility.
• Assist with scheduling and prioritizing maintenance work.
• Order replacement parts when needed.
• Support building, grounds, and renovation projects.
• Work with production and maintenance teams to solve problems and improve equipment performance.

What We're Looking For
