Job summary

Atkore in Pueblo, Colorado is seeking a Maintenance Technician I – 1st Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) to maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and electrical equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

You’ll work on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, fabricate parts, and support safety and Lean Daily Management principles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical cert in maintenance preferred.
• 3 years of proven maintenance experience (electrical/mechanical) in industrial setting.
• Lean Daily Management knowledge preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and HVAC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot malfunctions using diagrams and manuals.
• Fabricate repair parts with machine shop tools.
• Follow maintenance schedules and document activities.
• Inspect, lubricate, and calibrate equipment to prevent downtime.
• Repair electrical motors and components.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems and replace components.
• Support preventive maintenance on boiler, chiller, and compressor.
• Perform welding and fabrication.
• Respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Ensure safety devices are inspected and maintained.
• Collaborate with team with minimal supervision.
