Job summary

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service in College Station, Texas, is seeking a Training Support Technician I (1st Shift) to perform minor building maintenance and repair tasks. The role pays $20.59 per hour and offers two full-time positions in College Station.

The role reports to the Maintenance Foreman and may involve supporting other TEEX programs. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with a path for related training and certifications within 6–18 months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of maintenance experience in basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, equipment operation, or related trades.
• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Complete listed outsourced training within 6 months: ESTI Safety Orientation, Skid Steer Loader, Forklift, Material Handler, Man Lift, Iron Worker, Riding Mowers, and Mule.
• Obtain listed certifications as available within 18 months: 24-hour welding.
• LPG Installation.
• DOT Cylinder Filling.
• Equivalency: Will consider an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with no prior experience.
