Job summary

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) is seeking a Training Support Technician I for the 1st shift in College Station, TX. You will perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on emergency services training props and assist with minor building upkeep under supervision.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, about a year of maintenance experience, and a valid driver's license. TEEX offers benefits and opportunities within a dynamic public training environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of maintenance experience or related trades.
• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Willingness to complete OSHA/TEEX trainings as available.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on ESTI fire field training props.
• Handle minor building maintenance and repair requests.
• Support other TEEX programs as needed.
• Report to the Maintenance Foreman and coordinate with team members.
