Job summary

Hydromotion, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to service and repair production equipment in our Temple, TX facility. You will use hand and power tools, read diagrams and manuals, and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

Candidates should be able to work all shifts (including weekends) and participate in on-call plant emergencies, while adhering to OSHA regulations and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining machinery and production equipment.
• Ability to work all shifts, including weekends.
• Follow OSHA regulations (LOTO, PPE, confined spaces).

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery using hand and power tools.
• Observe equipment in operation to locate faults.
• Dismantle devices to access defective parts.
• Install and lubricate parts; adjust and test equipment.
• Locate and initiate purchase orders for parts and equipment.
• Work with others and provide guidance as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Repairs and maintains in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments.

Observes mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.

Adjusts functional parts of devices; Repairs or replaces defective parts; Installs special functional and structural parts in devices; lubricates and cleans parts; uses various tools and devices to make and repair parts.

Be able to locate and Initiates purchase orders for parts and equipment.

Follow all OSHA regulations such as confined spaces, LOTO, PPE, etc.

Ability to work all shifts (including weekends) and on-call for plant emergencies. Must also be able to work well with others and be able to give them guidance.
