Job summary

Texas Hydraulics Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I in Temple, TX. The role is full-time and on-site, offering hourly pay from $20.00 to $23.00.

Responsibilities include repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment per diagrams and manuals, observing operation to locate troubles, and replacing defective parts using hand and power tools. You will follow OSHA regulations and may work shifts including weekends and be on-call for plant emergencies.

Qualifications

• Repairs and maintains machinery and equipment following diagrams, manuals and manufacturer specifications.
• Follow OSHA regulations (confined spaces, LOTO, PPE).
• Able to work all shifts (including weekends) and on-call for plant emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains machinery and equipment using hand and power tools and precision measuring/testing instruments.
• Dismantles devices to access defective parts and replaces or repairs components.
• Initiates purchase orders for parts and equipment as needed.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Works across all shifts and provides guidance to others as required.

Maintenance Technician I

Maintenance - F Regular Full Time Technical Temple, TX, US

Salary Range: $20.00 To $23.00 Hourly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Repairs and maintains in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments.

Observes mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.

Adjusts functional parts of devices; Repairs or replaces defective parts; Installs special functional and structural parts in devices; lubricates and cleans parts; uses various tools and devices to make and repair parts.

Be able to locate and Initiates purchase orders for parts and equipment.

Follow all OSHA regulations such as confined spaces, LOTO, PPE, etc.

Ability to work all shifts (including weekends) and on-call for plant emergencies. Must also be able to work well with others and be able to give them guidance.
