Texas Hydraulics in Temple, TX seeks a Maintenance Technician I to support fabrication and production equipment. The role offers hourly pay between $20.00 and $23.00 and requires working various shifts, including weekends, and on-call support for plant emergencies.

You will repair and maintain machinery per diagrams and manuals, locate faults, dismantle devices, replace parts, and lubricate components while following OSHA regulations and PPE requirements.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $23.00 Hourly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Repairs and maintains in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments.

Observes mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.

Adjusts functional parts of devices; Repairs or replaces defective parts; Installs special functional and structural parts in devices; lubricates and cleans parts; uses various tools and devices to make and repair parts.

Be able to locate and Initiates purchase orders for parts and equipment.

Follow all OSHA regulations such as confined spaces, LOTO, PPE, etc.

Ability to work all shifts (including weekends) and on-call for plant emergencies. Must also be able to work well with others and be able to give them guidance.
