Leaf Forge is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support rotating equipment and facilities at our Pryor, Oklahoma site. This entry-level role requires attention to detail, accuracy in results, follow-through, and timely documentation.

The position involves maintaining and repairing production machines, cleaning equipment, troubleshooting issues, and minor valve/piping work within a tobacco manufacturing setting, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with mechanical operations of manufacturing equipment.
• Demonstrated goal orientation and forward thinking in previous roles.
• Ability to quickly learn and retain task knowledge and procedures.
• A steady work history and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair multiple production machines.
• Routinely clean and wash equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues with production equipment.
• Change small valves and threaded piping.
• Maintain plants and facility locations/roads.
• Maintain backhoes and trailers as needed.
• Maintain and clean crew tools.
• Do all required computer work and reports.
• Work safely and productively.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required with short notice.

Leaf Forge is a cutting-edge tobacco processing facility based in Pryor, Oklahoma. With construction completed in 2024, this facility spans 250,000 square feet and is adjacent to its parent company, Xcaliber International. This state-of-the-art processing facility employs advanced manufacturing and processing technologies to transform raw tobacco into the finished product used in cigarette production. Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician I has a very versatile skillset that requires the ability to cover multiple responsibilities. This position will work around and on rotating equipment and facilities with high pressure to perform routine maintenance. This is an entry-level position which will receive additional on the job training.

This position requires significant attention to detail, accuracy in results, follow-through, and timely documentation.

Skills And Experience

Required:

Preferred:

• Heavy equipment experience a plus.
• Competency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Physical Requirements:

• Walking, climbing, stooping, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

• Work is performed in a tobacco primary manufacturing facility.
• Exposure to high temperatures, loud noises and industrial equipment.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
