Job summary

Drury Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to keep the Drury Plaza Milwaukee property safe, clean, and fully functional. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, light carpentry, painting, and HVAC systems to deliver a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge and ability to handle all aspects of hotel maintenance.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration, and mechanical operations.
• Experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring safety and ergonomic programs.
• Building maintenance skills including minor electrical repair and plumbing.
• Ability to speak and write in English and follow written or verbal directions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and smooth-running physical hotel property and grounds.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, light carpentry, painting, and HVAC systems.
• Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs in compliance with regulations.
• Keep detailed records and reports.
• Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Collaborate with management to recruit, interview, and schedule for department needs.
• Deliver courteous, friendly guest service with a +1 Service attitude.
