Job summary

Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for Manatee Cove in Melbourne, FL. You will perform daily repairs, prep vacant units, manage service requests, and help uphold safety and quality across the property.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of maintenance experience, plus proficiency in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting. Valid basic tools and knowledge of housing laws are important.

Qualifications

• Must have maintenance/repair experience including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of local/state/federal regulations, including Fair Housing laws.

Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician at Richman Property Services, Inc.! Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Position Details

• Position: Maintenance Technician I
• Location: Manatee Cove, our 192-unit affordable residential community located at 746 Madelyn Way, Melbourne, FL 32901

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
• Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
• Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
• Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
• Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
• Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
• Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
• Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
• Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
• Perform on‑call duties and occasional overtime

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; industry‑related courses preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
• Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
• Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

Skills & Certifications

• EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
• Valid Driver's License required
• Proficient in English for communication and record‑keeping purposes
