Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on gas pipelines and related appurtenances.
• Develop spreadsheets/databases to track O&M costs and DOT compliance.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OCC, ODEQ, EPA, FERC and other agencies.
• Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with O&M procedures.
• Conduct patrols to verify ROW integrity, leaks, and encroachments.
• Communicate effectively with planners and team members.

Airswift has been tasked by one of our major clients to find a Maintenance Technician I to work for initially One-Year contract in Mansfield, LA. Work Schedule: 5/40 Job Type: W2 contract (One Year with possibility for extension) Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 3% matching 401k

Job Duties & Responsibilities

This entry level position ensures that the pipeline system is operated and maintained in compliance with all Company and applicable regulatory requirements in order to ensure that equipment is set up to maximize return on investment capital. Plan and perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities for gas pipelines, and other related appurtenances. Develop spreadsheets and databases to track and analyze pipeline eciencies, DOT compliance issues, O&M costs. Ensure compliance with DOT, OCC, ODEQ, EPA, FERC, One-Call and other regulatory agencies where applicable. Responsible for all DOT/OCC compliance issues. Perform assessments of company facilities to ensure compliance with industry and company O&M procedures and practices. Maintain strict surveillance and enforcement of security, safety and environmental rules and procedures at company pipelines. Perform all duties in accordance with Expands Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines Perform other related duties as assigned. Ride all pipelines as part of Expands scheduled inspections, ensuring the integrity of the ROWs, looking for leaks, and encroachments. Must communicate well with planners.
