Opportunity: Maintenance Technician I - Los Angeles, CA

Days/Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Sares Regis Group seeks an experienced maintenance professional for our 219-unit community, Wilshire Valencia. This role offers growth opportunities in the property management industry.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working in turnover and renovation units, responding to maintenance service requests.
• Performing external and internal repairs such as drywall, painting, fence and gate repairs, plumbing, appliance repairs, boilers, HVAC, and common area upkeep.
• Participating in emergency and after-hours coverage as scheduled or required.
• Setting up and operating machine tools like lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine for repairs or fabrication.
• Fabricating and repairing wooden structures like cabinets, counters, and partitions.
• Maintaining inventory and related paperwork.
• Keeping storage facilities and equipment in good condition.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience across trades such as electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, appliances, etc.
• Proven ability to perform quality work using required tools and machinery; professional interaction skills; knowledge of OSHA and MSDS requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret service orders, safety rules, manuals, and respond effectively to questions from staff and residents.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or related training/experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work weekends is required.

Salary ranges from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour. We offer a competitive package including 401(k) match, rental incentives, bonuses, and discounts based on location. Full-time employees working 30-40 hours weekly are eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, and vacation accrual. Sick time is provided per law.
