Job summary

FITS is seeking a maintenance technician to support manufacturing operations in the regulatory environment. The role involves electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical duties, including troubleshooting and calibration of diverse equipment, guided by schematics and drawings.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree with at least one year of industrial mechanics experience, and is fluent in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree with 1 year of experience in industrial mechanics within a regulated industry.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish).
• Shift: Non-standard shift, per business needs: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM.
• Experience in troubleshooting semi- and fully-automated equipment; pneumatics, electro-pneumatics, instrumentation, lasers, and vision systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
