Job Title: Maintenance Technician I

Join to apply for the Maintenance Technician I role at Gene B. Glick Company.

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Position: Maintenance, Full-time, Entry level

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for our 460-unit Woods of Eagle Creek apartment community. We are offering a one-time $1,000 hiring bonus for this position (paid after 6 months of employment).

Responsibilities
  • Complete all maintenance requests efficiently and courteously.
  • Repair and maintain electrical circuits, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
  • Repair, install, and maintain plumbing fixtures and basic appliances.
  • Repair carpeting and tile, maintain lawns, grounds, landscaping, and parking lots including snow removal.
  • Repair and maintain building exteriors and interior common areas.
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities.
  • Clean and maintain common areas.
  • Prepare vacant apartments for market readiness, including cleaning and painting.
  • Provide resident support and respond to emergency calls after hours.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in maintenance preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work overtime and respond to emergencies.
  • Effective communication skills in English; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
