The Department has Maintenance Technician vacancies in the Roadway Operations and Maintenance Division. The primary goal of the Division is to maintain the roads and right of ways in Gwinnett County to ensure safe driving conditions for the public works infrastructure.
Maintenance Technician I: Completion of coursework through eighth grade or equivalent experience; valid driver’s license; some positions require a CDL obtained within six months.
Maintenance Technician II: Same educational requirement; one year of related maintenance experience; valid driver’s license; some positions require a CDL obtained within 12 months.
