Amrize North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the Dallas, Texas facility. You will maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and support production uptime.

The role requires 3–5 years' industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience, ability to read blueprints, and a mechanical inclination. You will work with vendors and ensure safety standards.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Duro-Last Roofing, the world’s largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has an opening for a Maintenance Technician at their facility in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience.

Candidate will also be mechanically inclined as well as havethe initiative to be able to work both as a team and individually.

This is a full-time position that will report to the Director of IT, Jeff Shrum.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Maintain facility and associated equipment.
• Work with maintenance vendors.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Complete and submit company purchase requisitions.
• Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.
• Ensure all machinery follows federal, state, and company safety standards.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education:

• High School Diploma Required

Required Work Experience:

• 3-5 years industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience is highly desired.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step instructions.
• Must have experience with Industrial Controls.
• Mechanically inclined, and able to perform physical labor, lifting & operate machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and experienced with fabrication.

• Excellent safety and attendance record.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.
• Self-motivated and be able to multi-task.
• High attention to detail and be exceptionally organized.
• Must have initiative and be able to work in a team and individually.
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
