Duro-Last Roofing in Saginaw, Michigan, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility. This full-time role reports to the Maintenance/Facilities Manager and requires industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing equipment, wiring, and facilities, troubleshooting machinery, using hand and power tools, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals.
• Experience with industrial controls.
• Mechanically inclined and able to perform physical labor, lift, and operate machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and experience with fabrication.
• Excellent safety and attendance record.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task.
• High attention to detail and exceptionally organized.
• Initiative and ability to work in a team and individually.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Maintain facility and associated equipment.
• Work with maintenance vendors.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Complete and submit company purchase requisitions.
• Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.
• Ensure all machinery follows federal, state, and company safety standards.
