Job summary

Amrize in Saginaw, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, read blueprints, and work with industrial controls. The role requires 3–5 years of plant maintenance or electrical experience and a hands-on, safety-conscious approach.

You will collaborate with maintenance vendors, keep a clean work area, and help ensure safe, efficient operations on the production line.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and follow steps.
• Experience with Industrial Controls and blueprints.
• Physically capable of lifting and operating machinery; safety-focused.

Duro-Last Roofing, the world’s largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems and a
division of Amrize Solutions & Products, has an opening for a Maintenance Technician in their
Saginaw, Michigan plant. This is a full-time 1st Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm), hourly position with excellent benefits.

Essential Functions

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Maintain facility and associated equipment.
• Work with maintenance vendors.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Complete and submit company purchase requisitions.
• Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.
• Ensure all machineries follows federal, state, and company safety standards.

Requirements

• 3-5 years industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience is highly desired.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step
  instructions.
• Must have experience with Industrial Controls.
• Mechanically inclined, and able to perform physical labor, lifting & operating machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and experienced with fabrication.
• Excellent safety and attendance record.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.
• Self-motivated and be able to multi-task.
• High attention to detail and be exceptionally organized.
• Must have initiative and be able to work in a team and individually.
