Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a maintenance technician to support twisting and heatset production lines. You will implement Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, service and maintain machines, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

You must meet deadlines for repairs, lift up to 50 pounds, and work overtime or holidays as required. This role requires high school diploma or GED and the ability to read and communicate in English; tools provided by you or as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Tools required to perform maintenance duties must be provided by the candidate.
• Ability to work at heights 25 feet or greater.
• Minimum 1 year maintenance experience with twisting/heatset equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Lock Out/Tag Out procedures to ensure machine safety.
• Service and maintain production machines in twisting and/or heatset.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to prevent failures.
• Meet deadlines when repairing equipment to minimize downtime.
