Job summary

Saint-Gobain Abrasives is seeking a maintenance technician to service manufacturing equipment, support systems, and facilities. The role involves rotating between shifts and requires reading mechanical and electrical prints, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring plant reliability.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of maintenance experience, NFPA-70E electrical knowledge, and good teamwork and communication skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of maintenance/repair experience in hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and lift equipment or equivalent training.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic prints.
• NFPA-70E electrical knowledge or certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic and electrical components with minimal supervision.
• Inspect equipment for Preventative Maintenance and requisition repair parts.
• Coordinate Preventative Maintenance schedule to minimize downtime.
• Operate maintenance equipment safely and follow safety rules and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
