Claremont Companies in New Bedford, MA is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to maintain the interior and exterior of Hidden Brook/Bayberry properties. Responsibilities include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and general repairs to ensure safe, well-kept buildings and grounds.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience.
• Proficient with HVAC systems, electrical work, roofing, plumbing.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lift 35–100 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily interior upkeep: cleaning, painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled general maintenance for safe operations.
• Ensure cleanliness and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Operate within OSHA and company standards.
• Interact professionally with tenants, vendors, customers, and staff.
• Work on-call rotation; snow removal as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
