Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain property buildings and grounds, ensuring efficient operation and timely upkeep. The role supports on-site operations and requires readiness for vacant unit preparation and daily maintenance tasks.

The technician will perform repairs, manage supplies, and ensure safety compliance while providing dependable service and professional presentation. AMC offers competitive pay and benefits in a full-time role.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge required.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience preferred.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair and upkeep of the property and vacant unit prep.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional uniform and appearance.
• Follow OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of day.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Handle lock-outs after evictions and provide 24-hour service.
