Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our property management team in Vancouver, WA. The role covers maintenance, repairs, and vacant unit readiness to ensure high occupancy and property standards.

You will perform HVAC, plumbing, and electrical tasks, manage tools and inventory, and adhere to OSHA safety requirements. On-call availability and professional appearance are expected as part of a customer-focused service culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance/handyman roles.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair and upkeep of property and vacant unit preparation.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure tools are on hand and ready for use.
• Report unusual circumstances about the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional uniform appearance.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and safety policies.
• Be available for on-call duties.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of day.
• Assist with snow removal as needed.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions with 24-hour response.
