Qualifications

• HVAC repair experience required.
• Electrical and plumbing repair skills desired.
• Knowledge of water heaters, generators, refrigeration is a plus.
• Familiar with building codes, safety regulations, and blueprint interpretation.
• High School Diploma or GED; ability to read/write directions.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain records.
• Repair buildings and equipment per work orders.
• Test fire safety equipment under supervision.
• Inspect building systems and log findings.
• Coordinate maintenance with department managers.
• Carry out basic carpentry, drywall, flooring and painting.
• Keep building in good repair and compliant with laws.
• Follow safety rules and policies.
• Order equipment and supplies; maintain repair records.
• May drive for company business with either company vehicle or personal vehicle.
• Maintain resident confidentiality; treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect.
