Job summary

McDonald’s Restaurants Limited is seeking qualified maintenance technicians to service multiple stores in the Charlotte area. The role requires HVAC and EPA Universal certifications, plus knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and light carpentry tasks.

You must have reliable transportation and be available for ~40 hours per week with alternating emergency on-call shifts. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and HVAC, performing planned maintenance,

Qualifications

• HVAC Certification is required.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• General electrical knowledge needed.
• General plumbing knowledge required.
• Light carpentry experience helpful.
• Experience with maintenance and repair tasks.
• Reliable transportation to multiple store locations.
• Able to work ~40 hours per week.
• Alternating emergency on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
• Perform building repair and maintenance tasks.
• Carry out planned maintenance and equipment upkeep (ice machines, cooking equipment, facility equipment).
• Communicate status updates for parts and repairs with stores and supervisor.
• Complete service calls accurately and timely.
• Install equipment and accessories at an intermediate level.
• Educate managers and staff on basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
