Job summary

McDonald’s seeks qualified maintenance technicians to service commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general facility systems across multiple stores in North Carolina. Candidates must have HVAC certification and EPA Universal certification, plus basic carpentry and maintenance skills.

This role requires self-transportation, a 40-hour week (variable) with alternating on-call duties.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification and EPA Universal certification required.
• General electrical, plumbing, and light carpentry knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose and repair kitchen equipment and HVAC.
• Must provide own transportation and availability 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and/or HVAC.
• Building repair and maintenance.
• Planned maintenance and equipment upkeep (Ice machines, cooking equipment, facility equipment, etc)
• Communicate status updates for part order(s) and repairs with store and direct supervisor.
• Complete service calls accurately and timely
• Perform intermediate-level equipment and accessory installations
• Educate managers and other restaurant employees on how to maintain and troubleshoot basic issues
