Job summary

ESFM USA is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for Salt Lake City, UT. The role covers skilled maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems in commercial/industrial settings, with leadership on project teams and strong instruction to staff.

The job requires 4 years of trade schooling, 5 years in institutional maintenance, and a valid Journeyman or Master license with EPA Refrigerant certification. Wages are competitive with health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Four years of skilled trade school or maintenance vocational schooling.
• Five years of experience as a maintenance technician in an institutional setting in an engineering or maintenance discipline.
• Two years of experience as a licensed Journeyman in the specialized trade.
• Must have one of the following licenses: Master license or Journeyman Electrical/Plumber with EPA certification, etc.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled maintenance duties related to facility engineering and maintenance.
• Leads and supervises a group of workers on projects.
• Maintains logs, completes work orders, tests and inspections.
• Repairs and analyzes complex building system problems, alone or with a team.
• Supports training efforts and manages escalations.
• Works with electrical and mechanical systems, HVAC, sprinklers and safety systems.
