Job summary

ESFM is seeking a Maintenance Technician - MEP for a full-time role at 5420 John Cannon Dr, Salt Lake City, UT 84116. The incumbent will perform skilled maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, lead project teams, and ensure quality through preventive maintenance and inspections.

Required qualifications include several years in institutional maintenance, a skilled trades education, and a valid journeyman license or EPA certification; a driver's license is also required.

Qualifications

• Four years of skilled trade school or maintenance vocational schooling.
• Five years of experience as a maintenance technician in an institutional setting in an engineering or maintenance discipline.
• Two years of experience as a licensed Journeyman in the specialized trade.

Responsibilities

• Assists in decisions on repairs; reports major problems to supervisor.
• Maintains and repairs electrical and mechanical systems and related facilities.
• Cleans, services and diagnoses HVAC, electrical and mechanical building systems and related equipment.
• Teaches advanced maintenance skills to team members.
• Reviews work of outside vendors and prepares punch lists.
