Job summary

Eagle Rock Properties, a full-service real estate firm with properties across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Framingham, MA. You will be responsible for the appearance and working order of individual apartments, exterior, and common areas, under the direction of the Property Manager or Maintenance Manager.

The role requires 3-5+ years in trades and strong customer service and leadership skills, with duties including HVAC/electrical/plumbing repairs,

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in the trades, facilities, and/or residential building maintenance.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA, and MSDS.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance and working order of apartments, exterior, and common areas.
• Address HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs promptly.
• Manage make-ready and turnover to lease units quickly.
• Follow preventive maintenance programs to preserve building value
• Keep property clean, safe, and well maintained; perform snow removal and grounds upkeep
• Operate efficiently across all property components and meet codes/standards
• Participate in weekend and on-call emergency rotations
