The role requires 3–5+ years in trades and strong leadership, with on-call rotation and weekend work. EPA Type I/II or Universal certification is recommended to support HVAC, electrical, and appliance repairs.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in trades, facilities, and/or residential building maintenance.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA, and MSDS.
• Proficiency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical trades, and appliance repair.
• Basic carpentry, drywall, and painting skills.
• Strong communication skills and leadership abilities.
• Availability for emergency on-call rotation and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Show care for residents through timely follow-ups and complete apartment service tickets.
• Resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair issues.
• Manage make-ready and turnover to lease apartments quickly and accurately.
• Perform preventative maintenance to preserve building value and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and grounds; support snow removal and safety programs.
• Respond to emergencies and adhere to safety codes.
