Bell Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of interior and exterior maintenance across our communities in Garner, NC. You will address routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and safety concerns while ensuring a high level of resident service.

The role requires reliability, basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications may be required in communities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance as scheduled.
• Repair and maintain building systems and equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
• Report malfunctions and hazards to Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain resident privacy and secure access to apartments.
• Keep maintenance items in safe areas to prevent injuries.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions.
• Coordinate with vendors for landscaping, painting, asphalt, etc.
• Follow OSHA safety requirements and maintain regular attendance.
