B5 Recruiting is partnering with a large property management organization to hire several Maintenance Technicians in Greenwood, United States. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers hands-on experience across trades and the chance to contribute to safe, attractive, well-maintained residences.

You will prepare apartments, perform preventive maintenance, handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and be part of on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of related experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Your own set of tools.
• Certifications such as HVAC, CFC, or CPO preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for new residents (turns & move-outs).
• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Keep exterior areas clean and well-presented (curb appeal).
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance.
• Daily trash pickup and grounds upkeep.
• Maintain trash compactors and swimming pools (in season).
• Troubleshoot and repair: plumbing, basic electrical, appliances, carpentry & drywall, roofing & flooring.
• Check irrigation systems and maintain records of work and materials used.
• Participate in the on-call maintenance rotation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
