Responsibilities

• Maintains mechanical and electrical equipment in operable conditions.
• Performs maintenance tasks per procedures and schedule.
• Responds to maintenance requests by Residents and Staff.
• Maintains storage and mechanical areas in a clean, orderly manner.
• Assists in removal of trash and debris.
• Maintains interior and exterior of all buildings.
• Moves furniture as directed.
• Maintains lighting in working order.
• Maintains inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Constructs, repairs and maintains structures using tools per instructions.
• Performs electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, plaster, plumbing tasks.
• Performs periodic inspections of property, plant and equipment.
• Performs landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks.

Covenant Place is seeking a dependable, skilled Maintenance Technician to support building maintenance, preventative maintenance, apartment turns, work orders, and general facility repairs. What you will do:

1. Maintains mechanical and electrical equipment in operable conditions.
2. Performs maintenance tasks in accordance with procedures and preventative maintenance schedule.
3. Responds to maintenance requests by Residents and Staff.
4. Maintains storage and mechanical areas in clean, orderly manner.
5. Assists in removal of trash and debris.
6. Maintains interior and exterior of all buildings.
7. Moves furniture as directed.
8. Maintains lighting in working order.
9. Maintains inventory of maintenance supplies.
10. Constructs, repairs and maintains structures; such as, equipment, partitions and other parts of buildings, using hand and power tools according to written and oral instructions.
11. Performs electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, plaster, repairs and plumbing tasks as directed.
12. Performs periodic inspections of property, plant and equipment.
13. Performs landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, hedging, weeding, spreading fertilizer, mulch, sowing grass, setting out plants, watering, trimming of trees and shrubs.
