Claremore Skilled Nursing & Therapy is seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to oversee maintenance operations within our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will be mechanically capable, a self-starter, and accountable, with strong leadership skills.

The role involves performing routine maintenance, repairing plumbing and electrical issues, and addressing safety hazards to ensure smooth facility operation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic repairing, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience in a nursing home environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance around the building.
• Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.
• Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs.
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
