Job summary

Claremore Skilled Nursing & Therapy is seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to oversee maintenance operations within our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will apply hands-on upkeep, leadership, and problem-solving to keep the building safe and functional.

You will perform routine maintenance, fix plumbing and electrical issues promptly, address safety hazards, and support a stable, well-maintained environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic repairing, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience in a nursing home environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance around the building.
• Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.
• Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs.
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
