Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Carlisle, PA is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to maintain a safe, comfortable campus for residents and staff. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance across building systems and equipment.

The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare or residential settings, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience preferred but not required.
• Experience maintaining healthcare, nursing facility, or residential settings.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Sharp problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Complete general building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and report hazards or needed repairs.
• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with administration, nursing, and outside vendors as needed.
